Greg Cowan is a Strategic Executive at Avista Capital Partners. Mr. Cowan is an experienced senior executive in the healthcare sector, previously serving as EVP and CFO of Avantor, as well as SVP and CFO of VWR International, a former Avista portfolio company, prior to its acquisition by Avantor. Prior to joining VWR, Mr. Cowan was at CDI Corporation and Crown Holdings, Inc. (formerly Crown Cork and Seal Company Inc.), where he served in various senior financial positions. Mr. Cowan also previously served in various audit and consulting capacities at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC. Mr. Cowan has great financial acumen, corporate governance expertise and extensive experience growing businesses.
Mr. Cowan received a degree in accounting and finance from Rutgers University. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of eMolecules, Probo Medical and Taconic Biosciences and Director and Audit Committee Chairman of RVL (NASDAQ: RVLP).
